St James' Park is an all-seater stadium in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is the home of Premier League club Newcastle United F.C. and has a seating capacity of 52,405. St James' Park has been the home ground of Newcastle United since 1892 and has been used for football since 1880.

Re-live the glorious days of the steam railway at Stephenson Railway Museum! The Museum is home to George Stephenson's 'Billy', a forerunner of the world- famous Rocket, and many other engines from the great age of steam.

Segedunum was a Roman fort at modern-day Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, England, UK. The fort lay at the eastern end of Hadrian's Wall near the banks of the River Tyne, forming the easternmost portion of the wall.

The Laing Art Gallery holds regularly changing exhibitions of historic, modern and contemporary art, and events including artist and curator talks and family activities. 

Escape to this tranquil nature reserve: a grand forest garden and landscape park created by one of the richest men in Georgian England. Gibside offers miles of woodland and riverside walks with views across the Derwent Valley.

The Castle, Newcastle is a medieval fortification built on the site of the fortress which gave the City of Newcastle its name. The most prominent remaining structures on the site are the Castle Keep, the castle's main fortified stone tower, and the Black Gate, its fortified gatehouse

Saltwell Park, based in the heart of Gateshead, it is one of Britain's finest examples of a Victorian Park. The park has seen an amazing transformation and has been restored to its Victorian splendour.
